Crafted from 100% preshrunk cotton, this cap delivers breathable comfort and all-day durability under your welding hood. The fire-resistant denim brim provides structure and added protection, while the solid cotton lining (color selected from available stock) ensures a soft, smooth interior finish.

Each HD Welding Hat is Made in the U.S.A., custom sewn for a fit that meets your exact standards. Choose from four standard crown depths — 6.5", 7", 7.5", and 8" — or request a custom depth in ¼" increments. Brim lengths are available in 2", 2.5", or 3", or can be customized in ¼" increments. Custom sizes measured to the ⅛" are also available — all at no extra cost.

*Note: The Liberty welding cap shown in the photo gallery has the optional Decorative Stitching w/Cotton Sweatband - this is option is available for additional cost. See the Upgrades section for details.

All medium and dark color caps include a fire-resistant denim brim as standard, and optional upgrades — including Kevlar-stitched bands and brims, cotton sweatbands, and microfiber sweatbands — are available to suit your work environment and preferences.

These caps are not rated or certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are not a substitute for required safety gear. Always follow your employer's safety requirements and applicable workplace regulations. Exact Size

You can choose from the standard sizes or have the exact size you need for every welding cap we sell, right on the webpage - no extra email messages.

Custom Depth

There are 4 Standard depth options. If those aren't the right fit you can request and custom depth to the nearest 1/4" right on the webpage.

Brim Options

Choose 2", 2.5" or 3" brim length or use the Custom Measurement box for your custom measurmemnt to the nearest 1/4".

Made to Order

All of the welding caps are made to your specific needs. No caps are sitting on a shelf waiting to be sold.

Pre-washed Fabrics

Every cotton fabric and the cotton sweatbands are pre-washed before cutting to reduce shrinking of your new welding caps in the laundry.

Made in the USA

Your new welding cap are made and ship from the same place - Oregon.

FR Denim Brim

All medium and dark colored welding caps have the FR Denim in the brim for reinforcement and flexibility. Light color caps will have 100% cotton canvas for reinforcement and flexibility.

Sweatband Options

If you need moisture control I offer cotton sweatbands or microfiber sewn into the band for comfortable wear.

Embroidery

Kevlar Thread
