Some messages don’t need words. The Middle Finger Welding Cap by HD Welding Hats is made for welders who prefer to let their work — and their sense of humor — speak for itself.

This cap features an embroidered hand with an unmistakable gesture, stitched on the underside of the brim in your choice of black or white embroidery thread. It stays out of sight when the brim is down, but flip it up and it says exactly what you mean — no explanation required.

Each cap is custom made in the USA using solid color preshrunk cotton fabric of your choice. The brim is crafted from fire-resistant denim, providing structure and protection under your welding hood. As with all HD Welding Hats, every detail is built for comfort, durability, and a perfect fit.

Choose from four standard depth sizes — 6.5", 7", 7.5", and 8" — or request a custom depth in ¼" increments. Brim lengths are available in 2.5", or 3", with additional custom options in ¼" increments. You can also request a solid cotton lining color, depending on available stock. Custom sizing down to the ⅛" ensures your hat fits exactly the way you like it.

Exact Size

You can choose from the standard sizes or have the exact size you need for every welding cap we sell, right on the webpage - no extra email messages.

Custom Depth

There are 4 Standard depth options. If those aren't the right fit you can request and custom depth to the nearest 1/4" right on the webpage.

Brim Options

Choose 2", 2.5" or 3" brim length or use the Custom Measurement box for your custom measurmemnt to the nearest 1/4".

All of the welding caps are made to your specific needs. No caps are sitting on a shelf waiting to be sold.

Pre-washed Fabrics

Every cotton fabric and the cotton sweatbands are pre-washed before cutting to reduce shrinking of your new welding caps in the laundry.

Made in the USA

Your new welding cap are made and ship from the same place - Oregon.

FR Denim Brim

All medium and dark colored welding caps have the FR Denim in the brim for reinforcement and flexibility. Light color caps will have 100% cotton canvas for reinforcement and flexibility.

Sweatband Options

If you need moisture control I offer cotton sweatbands or microfiber sewn into the band for comfortable wear.
