The evacuation notice for my area has been lifted, and I have returned to work.

Wildfire activity continues in the surrounding area, and local utilities may temporarily shut off power if conditions require it.

If that happens, production could be briefly interrupted, but I will resume work as soon as power is restored.

This listing is for the sewing of one welding cap using new cotton fabric that you purchase and ship to me.

You will need 1/3 yard of fabric per side.

If you need a custom measurement for size (nearest 1/8"), depth (nearest 1/4") or brim (nearest 1/4") let me know. Please be specific. If you would like certain color for embroidery fill that in here as well.

How This Works

1. You purchase the fabric.
Purchase 1/3 yard of new cotton fabric for each cap of your welding cap out outside print only - or 2/3 yard for both lining and outside print.

2. You ship the fabric to me.
After ordering, send your fabric to HD Welding Hats. The address is: HD Welding Hats 768 Hood Ave Metoilus OR 97741

3. I make your cap.
I'll preshrink and press your fabric, then make your welding cap using the size, depth, brim and options selected above.

4. I ship the finished cap to you.
Shipping of your completed welding cap is included.

You shop. I sew. You get exactly the welding cap you wanted.

A Note About Safety:

HD Welding Hats are handcrafted work caps built for comfort and durability on the job. All medium and dark color caps include a fire-resistant denim brim as standard, and optional upgrades — including Kevlar-stitched bands and brims, cotton sweatbands, and microfiber sweatbands — are available to suit your work environment and preferences.

These caps are not rated or certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are not a substitute for required safety gear. Always follow your employer's safety requirements and applicable workplace regulations. Exact Size

You can choose from the standard sizes or have the exact size you need for every welding cap we sell, right on the webpage - no extra email messages.

Custom Depth

There are 4 Standard depth options. If those aren't the right fit you can request and custom depth to the nearest 1/4" right on the webpage.

Brim Options

Choose 2", 2.5" or 3" brim length or use the Custom Measurement box for your custom measurmemnt to the nearest 1/4".

Made to Order

All of the welding caps are made to your specific needs. No caps are sitting on a shelf waiting to be sold.

Pre-washed Fabrics

Every cotton fabric and the cotton sweatbands are pre-washed before cutting to reduce shrinking of your new welding caps in the laundry.

Made in the USA

Your new welding cap are made and ship from the same place - Oregon.

FR Denim Brim

All medium and dark colored welding caps have the FR Denim in the brim for reinforcement and flexibility. Light color caps will have 100% cotton canvas for reinforcement and flexibility.

Sweatband Options

If you need moisture control I offer cotton sweatbands or microfiber sewn into the band for comfortable wear.

Flannel Lining

For extra warm and comfort for those cold days.
